Album Interpretation
This brief was given to induce experimentation and innovation. The solution should be considered as a limited edition deluxe item. We were assigned to research special packaging and special materials, listen to the music, read the lyrics, look for imagery in the lyrics, keywords and themes. We developed concepts for your design and experiments with format, structure and layout while considering texture and special materials. We are taught to try to develop something original in your approach that will help your design stand out from the rest.
Good designs will capture the atmosphere or mood of the music and be inspired
by ideas and lyrics in the songs. There should be a connection between the design and the music which amplifies and supports each discipline. It’s all too easy to make an attractive CD case with an arresting image or adventurous typography but it-is worthless if there is no connection with the content.

Here is my take on the first brief given in my exchange year at Northumbria University. I photographed the poses for the album myself. This project required me to reroute multiple of times due to unexpected failures. It took multiple attempts for the shoot, but i can say that it was worth the effort
