Color Theory | Self Portrait
With 13-17 colors, i was assigned to make an a2 sized mosaic self portrait using poster paint. First i picked the colors, then with the photo of choice i made the mosaic using a pen tool. I divided sections of light and dark and used the colors accordingly. I pre-made the swatches before the day of the exam to save time, as we were asked to paint the portrait and finish it by the end of the day. I tried to make the mosaic similar to how the do WPAP. A form of art style developed in Indonesia. I painted the artwork with one brush. It was a round brush, size 8.
